“Lately”

I've been feeling a sense of groundedness and gratitude.

I've been taking time to sit and appreciate what's around me, the abundance that I prayed for, the peace that I've long for.

Sometimes the most daunting task can be trying to qualify the actions of your past while trying to quantify the probability of the future.

I realize the gift of the present is the only thing I have to focus on. It takes the weight of the world off my shoulders.

If it doesn't compel me, I don't move.

I sit still, and I enjoy the things that light a fire in my heart.

The people that inspire me to be and to do better. The moments that can't be captured on device, but can be felt on the day you need it most.

I've been feeling like the Earth has been holding me up, and God has been holding me down.
