QUADRANT: A Self-Portrait Study in Persona
Through this four-part visual exploration completed in a single day, as art director, photographer and subject, I challenged myself to construct four distinct personas under intense time constraints, proving that limitation often breeds innovation.
My aim in embarking on this journey was to step into the shoes of those I photograph, experiencing firsthand what it means to be on the other side of the lens. The project became more than an exercise in capturing the perfect image—it evolved into a journey of self-discovery and a profound understanding of the vulnerable space between being both artist and subject. Through each transformation, I gained deeper insight into the trust my subjects place in me as their photographer and art director, while pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling through carefully crafted personas.
